GHL Dynamic Attendee Journey & Tagging Guide

Learn how to build sophisticated, multi-path attendee journeys in GHL based on ticket types and registration behavior.

The GHL Dynamic Attendee Journey Guide

A one-size-fits-all email sequence is the fastest way to lose attendee engagement. This guide teaches you how to use Tixified's native GHL integration to create dynamic, personalized journeys based on ticket tiers.

1. The Tagging Architecture

Success starts with a clean tagging structure. We recommend the following format: [Event Name] | [Ticket Tier] | [Status].

  • Example: Summit 2024 | VIP | Confirmed
  • Example: Summit 2024 | GA | Registered
  • Example: Summit 2024 | Speaker | Onboarded

2. Branching Logic in GHL Workflows

When a ticket is purchased via Tixified, use a "Condition" step in your GHL workflow to check the ticket type:

If Ticket Type = "VIP"

-> Add to "VIP Lounge Access" sequence. Send immediate invite to the private VIP Slack/WhatsApp group.

If Ticket Type = "General Admission"

-> Add to "Event Prep" sequence. Send transportation tips and standard agenda.

3. Automating the "No-Show" Pivot

If an attendee has the tag "Registered" but NOT "Checked-In" two hours after the event starts, trigger an automated SMS: "We missed you this morning! You can still catch the afternoon sessions. Here is the link to the live stream."

Stop Overpaying: Most event platforms charge extra for CRM integrations or advanced segmentation. Tixified includes these features natively. Plans start From $49/mo (0% fees).
