HubSpot Event Property Setup Checklist

Complete these steps in HubSpot Settings → Properties → Contact Properties before connecting Tixified. Creating properties first ensures data maps correctly from day one.

Section 1 — Create a Property Group First

Step: Go to Settings → Properties → Groups → Create Group

Group name: Event History

This keeps all event properties organized together on the contact record instead of scattered across default groups.

Section 2 — Event History Properties (create all 4)

Property Name	Internal Name	Field Type	How Tixified Uses It
Last Event Attended	`last_event_attended`	Single-line text	Written on check-in with event name
Last Event Date	`last_event_date`	Date picker	Written on check-in with event date
Total Events Attended	`total_events_attended`	Number	Incremented on each check-in via workflow
First Event Date	`first_event_date`	Date picker	Written on first purchase only, never overwritten

Section 3 — Ticketing Properties (create all 3)

Property Name	Internal Name	Field Type	How Tixified Uses It
Last Ticket Type	`last_ticket_type`	Single-line text	Written on purchase with ticket name (GA, VIP, etc.)
Last Order ID	`last_order_id`	Single-line text	Written on purchase for cross-reference
Last Promo Code Used	`last_promo_code`	Single-line text	Written on purchase if promo code used

Section 4 — Attendance Properties (create all 2)

Property Name	Internal Name	Field Type	How Tixified Uses It
Last Check-In Date	`last_checkin_date`	Date picker	Written on QR scan at event door
No Show Count	`no_show_count`	Number	Incremented by no-show identification workflow

Section 5 — Connect to Tixified

Step 1: Go to Tixified → Integration Settings → HubSpot

Step 2: Enter your HubSpot Private App API key

Step 3: Enable Contact Sync, Order Sync, Attendee Sync

Step 4: For each ticket, go to HubSpot settings and map the property internal names to the corresponding Tixified fields

Step 5: Run a test purchase to verify data flows correctly
