30-Day Event Launch Playbook

The complete countdown plan for selling out your next event. Follow each phase in order — the momentum builds on itself.

Phase 1 — Warm-Up (Days 30–25)

Goal: Prime your audience before the launch.

☐ Send a value-driven content email to your full list (no selling yet)
☐ Post 3–5 social media warm-up posts hinting at something coming
☐ Personal outreach to your top 20 CRM contacts (DM, text, or call)
☐ Brief your speaker lineup on the launch timeline and affiliate links
☐ Finalize your checkout page, promo codes, and email sequences

Phase 2 — Inner Circle Pre-Sale (Days 24–22)

Goal: Generate first sales from your warmest contacts.

☐ Send pre-sale email to past attendees ONLY (exclusive 48hr window)
☐ Include a special promo code (e.g., EARLYBIRD or LOYALTY)
☐ Set a clear deadline: "This code expires in 48 hours"
☐ Follow up at 24 hours with a reminder to non-openers
☐ Track conversion rate — past attendees should convert at 5–15%

Phase 3 — Public Launch (Days 21–15)

Goal: Maximum exposure on launch day. Coordinate all channels.

☐ Launch email to full list (highlight early-bird pricing deadline)
☐ All speakers post affiliate links on the same day (coordinate this!)
☐ Social media launch post with event details and ticket link
☐ Update website banner / pop-up to promote the event
☐ Send a personal "just launched" text/DM to your 50 hottest leads
☐ Run a paid ad if budget allows (retarget website visitors first)

Phase 4 — Social Proof Push (Days 14–8)

Goal: Leverage early sales momentum to drive more conversions.

☐ Share ticket sales milestones ("50 tickets sold in the first week!")
☐ Post 2–3 testimonials from past events or registered attendees
☐ Re-engagement email to people who opened but didn't buy
☐ Speaker spotlight content ("Meet [Speaker] — here's what they'll cover")
☐ Tag non-buyers in CRM for the urgency phase

Phase 5 — Urgency Close (Days 7–1)

Goal: Convert fence-sitters with real urgency and scarcity.

☐ Early bird pricing deadline (Day 7) — send 2 emails on deadline day
☐ "Final seats" email showing remaining capacity (Day 5)
☐ Personal follow-up to high-intent non-buyers from CRM tags (Day 4)
☐ Last chance email: "Doors close tomorrow" (Day 2)
☐ SMS blast to opted-in contacts (Day 1)
☐ Morning-of final push email (Day 0, 7am)
